So today I ran some errands. and well, I went to borders for a bit to read, but then i got really distracted by a good idea. I should use my target gift card for incense! and the regina spektor cd! so off I went. As I stood in line to check out, I thought to myself: what a hippy. chai tea, incense, and regina spektor. HA.
so i thought i would document this day’s purchases here.
Review of the Regina Spektor cd, Far:

Regina Spektor, Far
well, what can i say, I haven’t even made it through the whole album yet, but its already going beyond my expectations, as usual. I love Regina Spektor because she’s just so gosh darn creative. She mixes legit talent with a beautiful voice and manages to make really catchy songs that are just one shade away from radio-ready pop, keeping her integrity as a singer songwriter. She’s just, awesome. Here’s one song that caught my attention as I was listening, and turns out, its her single. Watch it and let me know what you think. Its called Laughing With. some of the lyrics are:
No one laughs at God in a hospital
No one laughs at God in a war
No one’s laughing at God
When they’re starving or freezing or so very poor

Lately I’ve taken to buying things to fill myself. Either to get rid of a bad mood of being at home, or to feel less lonely. its a silly thing to be feeling, and doing. oh well.
